31 Days Of I Love Myself Enough : Day 10

DAY TEN: I LOVE MYSELF ENOUGH TO HONOUR MY FEELINGS
I love this one!!
For so long I wasn’t allowed to express myself and how I was feeling.
Growing up I was constantly told:
Stop crying or I will give you something to cry for
If I got angry about something I was asked who did I think I was
If I didn’t agree with an adult and I spoke up I was told that I would do as I was told. No discussion
If I complained about something I was told to be grateful for how lucky I was.
If I laughed too much I was told that it would end in tears (that used to end the joy I was feeling almost immediately.)
I learned to supress my feelings. I started to believe that what I felt wasn’t important. That I didn’t matter.
Louise Hay taught me that IT IS OK TO EXPRESS my feelings.
I cry now without feeling guilty or shameful.
I speak up if I don’t agree with someone
I allow myself to get angry sometimes if I feel angry
If something isn’t ok then I will speak up and say so
I will laugh so loudly that other people will look at me!!
We are humans. We have feelings. When we suppress them we are creating toxins in our bodies that will eventually lead to poor health and sickness.
Today I invite you to be willing to EXPRESS your feelings.
You matter.
You deserve to feel your feelings.
Give yourself permission to express your feelings today!!
Sending you all so much love from my heart to yours 💜
