Christmas isn’t for everyone

Hi beautiful people,

The whole country is in the full swing of Christmas right now and it feels very full on.

However, not everyone is enjoying and complying with the so-called spirit of Christmas for many different reasons.

One of those reasons is that this may be the first Christmas without a loved one, and speaking from experience that is pretty tough.

We don’t feel like celebrating or joining in and people judge us for that.

My own dad passed away 11 years ago on the 12th December 2012, losing him so close to Christmas was bad enough but when everyone else was telling me to be strong, frankly, I just didn’t feel like it. And Christmas has always been a time of mixed emotions ever since then.

So, for those of you who won’t be celebrating Christmas this year for whatever reason, know that there is nothing wrong with you. And do the best you can, whatever that looks like for you.

For the rest of you who are celebrating Christmas, have a very Happy Christmas and my wish for all of you for 2024 is that you have an abundance of love, peace, joy and prosperity.
