My 8 day Roller Coaster Journey

Hi beautiful people,
Some of you may be wondering why you didn’t receive a newsletter last week.
Here’s why, last Tuesday (May 7th), I discovered a lump in my right breast.
I called the GP when I got home and managed to get an appointment the same day (they had had a cancellation at 4.50pm. Thank you Universe.)
The following day I got an appointment at the Breast Unit in Bolton (even though I no longer live in Bolton, I requested Bolton when I was with the GP as I work in Bolton and all my family still live in Bolton), my request for Bolton was granted. Thank you again Universe.
My appointment was for exactly one week later (May 14th) which was yesterday at 2pm.
I have journaled every day about my feelings and all of the love and support I have received from my family. There is a history of breast cancer in my family, my own sister had a double mastectomy a few years ago and another family member was actually having surgery yesterday (14th May) for breast cancer.
With all this history I have always been very vigilant when it comes to checking my own breasts.
During the past week, I have found myself a couple of times going down the rabbit hole with my thoughts, and as soon as I have become aware of this, I have stopped, and spoken to myself with such love and kindness and told myself that the thoughts I have been thinking are not true.
I have continued to work and to do the best I can.
The same day as my appointment, I was meant to be hosting one of my Love Pill calls and thankfully, after being given permission by another Heal Your Life teacher, I cancelled the call and I am so very grateful that I did.
My sister came with me yesterday to my appointment where I had 4 mammograms (one of each breast, and then one of each side of each breast), and then an ultra sound scan.
The staff were all lovely.
The great news is that I got the ALL CLEAR!! ALL GOOD!!
I was beyond ecstatic!! My sister gave me a big hug and when I came out of the unit, I shouted whoa whoa!! And did a little jig!!
I had the biggest smile on my face ever!! And it’s still there!!!
On my way home, I wanted to put the radio on and thought that whichever song was playing would be the song that would always remind me of this journey; the song was just coming on and it was George Michael, Father Figure… that was my dad letting me know he was with me and always is… I started to talking to him with tears rolling down my face… 2 songs later a song by Queen came on… Somebody to Love… that was my brother letting me know he was with me… he’s never far behind my dad and I know they are together… I started talking to my brother and the tears kept falling.
I then turned the radio off because of the adverts and turned it back on just before I got home… It was one of my favourite songs of all time, a song that always got me up on the dance floor, no matter what, the song was Chaka Khan… Ain’t Nobody… I was singing at the top of my voice!!!!
Thank you Universe.
Knowing that the Universe always has my back is so very comforting.
People told me not to worry… even though they worried.
I wouldn’t say I was worried, I would say that there were a few possibilities on the table… and no matter what the outcome, I would accept it and deal with whatever it may be.
Turns out… one of the possibilities was that there was nothing there. All was well.
And in the words of my mentor and teacher, Louise Hay, “All is well in my world. And I am safe.”
Since receiving this news yesterday, I can say that I have noticed a shift. I feel so much more gratitude and carefree.
Life really is too short to complain and gossip.
I intend to continue to live my life from a place of so much love, joy, happiness and to serve as many people as I can.
