The Totality of Possibilities

Hi beautiful people, well the first thing is to wish you all a very Happy New Year!! Even though we are almost at the end of January already!!

I have decided I am NOT going to talk to you this month about new Year’s Resolutions (You’ve probably broken most of them by now any way; at least that’s what research tells us). Nor am I going to talk to you about setting your goals for the year; it seems EVERYONE is already talking to you about that!!

Mmmmmmmm let me think……what does that leave me with?

I know…..I am going to be REALLY vulnerable with you all this month and share something that is very close to my heart and actually came from my heart.

Let me explain how it came about, I was invited to speak at a Bolton Unique Ladies Business Network meeting last week and had decided that I was going to talk about the ‘Totality of Possibilities.’

On the 4th January I was sat having breakfast in my kitchen when, all of a sudden, a poem began to download in my head!!

I grabbed a pen and paper and wrote down the words.

It was perfect for what I was going to speak about at the network meeting!!

Thank you so much Universe!!

So, this month I wanted to share this poem with you in the hope that it inspires you:

BACK THEN – A POEM BY LYNN MEADOWCROFT: 

BACK THEN I DIDN’T KNOW I HAD OTHER CHOICES

BACK THEN I THOUGHT, IS THIS IT?

BACK THEN I DIDN’T QUESTION ANYTHING

BACK THEN I DID WHAT WAS EXPECTED OF ME

BACK THEN I WASN’T TRULY HAPPY

BACK THEN I TOOK THE ABUSE

BACK THEN I DIDN’T KNOW DIFFERENTLY

BACK THEN THINGS GOT SO HARD

BACK THEN I DIDN’T WANT TO BE HERE

BACK THEN I FELT LIKE A FAILURE

BACK THEN I DIDN’T LOVE MYSELF

BACK THEN WAS A LIVING NIGHTMARE

BACK THEN I HAD NO IDEA WHO I WAS

BACK THEN I HAD NO PURPOSE

BACK THEN MY FUTURE LOOKED BLEAK

BACK THEN………..

BUT NOW:

I SEE THINGS DIFFERENTLY

I BELIEVE IN WHO I AM

I HAVE FOUND MY INNER STRENGTH

I HAVE FOUND MY INNER LIGHT

I NOW STAND IN MY OWN POWER

I HAVE FOUND MY VOICE

I FEEL ALIVE

I FEEL JOY

I FEEL HAPPY

I FEEL THAT LIFE IS WORTH LIVING

I HELP OTHERS TO FEEL THE SAME

AND I HAVE FINALLY REACHED THE PONT OF LOVING AND ACCEPTING MYSELF EXACTLY AS I AM!

AND LIFE IS GOOD.

ALL IS WELL IN MY WORLD

AND SO IT IS.

You see, it DOES NOT MATTER what you have you gone through in the past; it doesn’t matter how hard things may have been.

What MATTERS NOW is that YOU ARE ALIVE NOW!! So, live your life for yourself right now.

Start to believe that anything is possible. Dream big!! Stop playing small. Make sure you are doing what you love!!

And always remember that you ARE AMAZING, INSPIRATIONAL and BEAUTIFUL. And always were despite what you grew up to believe.

BELIEVE IN YOURSELF.
