Today I Am Devoted to Claiming My Self-Worth

Hi beautiful people,
Today I invite you to believe in your worthiness.
Stop searching for something to make you feel worthy.
In order to believe and experience your own sense of worth, you first make a decision that you are worth believing in.
Brene Brown defines worthiness as ‘The conviction that you are good enough as you are, flaws and all and that you deserve to be loved.’
Her 4 principles are:
- Accept yourself unconditionally. You are good enough exactly as you are. Let go of the I’ll be good enough once I’ve…..
- Abandon the idea that to be ‘enough’, you have to fit into societal standards or other people’s expectations. You are worthy as you are, no matter how well you fit in or what anyone else thinks
- Reject the notion that you need to earn self-worth by proving yourself or pleasing others.
- Believe that you deserve love and belonging. People with lack of self-worth often believe they don’t deserve to belong or receive love.
To build your self-worth remember to love yourself daily.

How do you begin to grow self-worth?
You start be recognizing that you deserve to be loved. You deserve to love yourself.
Here’s a beautiful meditation by Louise Hay from her book Inner Wisdom:
I Am Worth loving
I don’t have to earn love any more than I have to earn the right to breathe. I have a right to breathe because I exist. I have a right to be loved because I exist.
I am worthy of my own love. I don’t allow my parent’s or society’s negative opinions or popular prejudices to make me think that I am not good enough.
The reality of my being is that I am loveable. I accept this and know this.
I find that other people now treat me as a loveable person.
